CACI is seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Architect (CTA) who will be responsible for seeking innovative ways to improve operations, gain efficiencies, improve effectiveness, and increase the performance of the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) IT architecture.
As the Chief Technology Architect, you will provide recommendations to the Government regarding potential changes to ICoE’s network architecture, systems, and facility support that can enhance mission performance.
Further, the CTA will be responsible to the PM for overall team performance and management of essential activities for the successful execution of CACI’s responsibilities in meeting the requirements of the program.
The interdependent nature of these requirements demands an experienced and certified IT leader with relevant and recent experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Seek innovative solutions to improve operations, gain efficiencies, improve effectiveness, and increase the performance of ICoE’s IT architecture
Administer all existing and emerging technologies in a manner that improves performance and efficiencies on system and network architectures
Lead a team drafting, preparing, and maintaining documents related to innovation and emerging technology initiatives
Recommend software or hardware updates, upgrades, additions, deletions, installations, replacements, equipment accountability and tracking, and/or other procedural changes that could make the mission more effective/efficient.
Make recommendations to the Government regarding new and emerging technologies that could assist with gaining such efficiencies, and shall, with appropriate Government review and approval, implement new and emerging technologies that can aid the Government improve effectiveness and efficiency
Research the Government and commercial markets to forecast and provide recommendations to the Government regarding new and emerging technologies and innovations pertaining to, but not limited to system and network operations, capability additions and/or reductions, cyber security, information assurance, data governance, cost savings, life-cycle replacement, maintenance, and improved efficiency in order to maintain an operational mission advantage
Shape our technical workforce, build our technical capabilities, drive technical insertion, improve program performance, and establish our team as the premier solution leader for our customers
Recommend innovative, practical, and timely options for solutions that clearly delineate benefits/trade-offs to users and stakeholders
Work with team to analyze program processes to determine gaps and identify technology enabled solutions to close gaps
Think freely to exploit technological advances that address business needs, without the constraint of former approaches
Required Qualifications:
Ten (10) plus years’ experience with design of systems and networks, systems analysis, and software engineering.
Experience with virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, thin/zero client technologies, client-server and storage systems.
Extensive experience with network design
Experience with MacAfee HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
Must have experience operating and designing classified networks at the Secret and Top Secret/SCI levels
Experience with tactical Military Intelligence systems, specifically the Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A)
Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and above
Nice to have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
