We are hiring a cleared Help Desk Support Specialist III to support a U.
S.
Army NEC in Ft.
Huachuca, Az.
The Help Desk Support Specialist III will be a focal point for desktop support and provide unparalleled service in maintaining optimal desktop environments and user experiences.
They will support a blend of troubleshooting, maintenance, technical insight, and user-oriented communication.
Key Responsibilities:
IAVA Compliance: Diligently track IAVA electronic alerts to ensure ACAS standards are consistently met.
ACAS Scans: Initiate scans on both secure and unsecure networks to pinpoint system vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
Ticket Handling: Effectively resolve Remedy tickets tied to quarantines, patches, and software updates.
Hardware & Software Management: Manage installations, repairs, and maintenance for all desktop hardware and software components.
Network Infrastructure: Oversee routers, exchange servers, hubs, and data switches, ensuring their optimal operation and routine maintenance.
Accreditation Records: Uphold meticulous records for all components and systems operating on the Government networks.
Tier III Help Desk Services: Deliver advanced support, encapsulating intricate troubleshooting, system/server development, and configuration.
Knowledge Management: Regularly update and maintain a digital Knowledge Management system offering step-by-step solutions to common issues.
Peripherals Support: Provide assistance for devices like printers, scanners, and more.
On-site Assistance: Directly support end-users at their workstations, offering technical aid and addressing their concerns.
Document Tracking: Thoroughly record all issues and resolutions during service calls for future reference.
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support: Assist users in both NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments.
Server Support: Deliver top-notch support services for server environments.
Additional Support: Perform extra duties like Inventory Management, Ticket Triaging, Computer Imaging Services, and more.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree coupled with 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
(An additional 2 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
)
DoD IAT Level II or higher certifications (e.
g.
, CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)).
Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Demonstrated expertise in Help Desk operations, with the ability to support 12,000+ customers.
Proficiency in VB scripting/PowerShell, SCCM CB, and Windows 10 is essential.
