FSI is looking to hire a general maintenance worker to join our team!
Job Summary
This position performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, masonry, and electrical work.
Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Replacing electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures and motors.
Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
Repairing or replacing sinks, and toilets.
Painting structures and equipment.
Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps and sidewalks.
Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
Hanging doors.
Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Follows company’s safety, health and accident prevention plan while maintaining records in a timely fashion.
Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces, assist others as part of the maintenance team as required and perform other duties assigned according to personal qualifications.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of four years related experience in construction and/or building and facility maintenance.
Minimum one years in the electrical trade or associated work.
Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire
Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
Ability to read and write English.
