Position Summary:
Responsible for comprehensive assessment, evaluation, planning, administering, and directing patient care services applying evidence based practice (EBP) principles.
Identify anatomic and physiologic strengths and weakness of communication and swallowing effectiveness, to include but not limited to, cognition, attention, articulation, fluency and language.
Always provides “patient-centered” excellent customer service and clinical care, which address patient/family needs, preferences, goals, and assists patients in reaching their maximal level of performance and function while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Document all aspects of care/services compliant with department policy, professional association standards of practice, payer source, state, and federal regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree Required.
Doctorate preferred.
Active ASHA Speech Language Pathology License required.
Must obtain CPR Certification within 90 days of hire.
