Hyper brand wholly factory made, not some kit added on to some cheap bike.
Beautiful and strong thick walled aluminum alloy frame and billet rear hub sprocket mount make it surprisingly light weight.
I've never seen one with an electric start before, seems sort of silly to me, lugging around a heavy 12 volt battery (I'll give you one if you would like).
But, if I were to keep this, I would add a larger rubber pull start handle, it's got plenty of compression to overcome.
New fuel petcock valve coming, this one seeps, unacceptable.
Cylinder not stamped, but estimating by cylinder head bolt distances, it is an 80cc motor.
The BT engine brand is reputable, used in many applications, small Honda motorcycle replacement units for example.
Hey, $875 looks steep until you think about it.
No longer produced by Hyper, they went to friggin' electric.
oops.
I was able to find an invoice that showed $1368 msp.
As well made as it is, the quality and components warranted $1500, but before electrics nobody would pay that much for tiddler transportation.
I think they stopped production because they could not get the price required to produce such an above the norm fun vehicle,
So, the price, now considerable, volter bikes go $1500+, and are still dependent upon plugs to make go, while a gasoline version will go for 2 months on a stashed gallon jug.
During power outages EVs don't go nowhere, useless, when you might really need them.
I've ordered the performance exhaust for it, always wanted to do that, you can get 30% more power on two strokes with just an expansion chamber, who could not want to do that? So, finally, I don't need to sell it, want to keep it, so if you won't pay my now acceptable price, I will be more than happy to keep it for fun.
