DVS is looking for a Storage/Virtualization Administrator-Intermediate to support a large DoD team.
The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ position and will support the RCC-C, which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise environment.
Job Duties:
Operate and maintain VMware virtualized environments on diverse hardware platforms
Troubleshoot complex issues using GUI, command line interface, and Windows PowerShell
Work with remote customers and technical support vendors to resolve complicated hardware and software issues
Utilize diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems
Utilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions required
Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the Data Services infrastructure
Provide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends when required
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Must be US Citizen eligible for DOD interim Secret clearance
HS +4 or AA/AS +2 years IT experience/ education or BA/BS
IAT II certification required (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP)
EMC Storage Administrator, Symantec Certified Specialist, VMware CA or other on Ce list w/in 180 days
Excellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment
