General Summary: Under general direction from the Site Leader, performs supervisory, management, and administrative support work within the company.
This individual provides some oversight of Direct Care Staff.
This individual assists with managing the daily operations of the office.
They may interact as an agent with outside entities.
May be assigned to serve on special committees and conduct various meetings as necessary.
Required to be familiar with, abide by, and enforce all State of Arizona, Behavioral Health Agency, RBHA, BMFL, and company regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise, evaluate, discipline and direct the activities of the Direct Care Staff per company guidelines.
• Ensures prompt and effective documentation by all staff supervised.
• Makes independently appropriate, sound critical decisions under extreme stress and in emergency situations.
Informs supervisor and Chief Level officers of Sentinel Events occurring within the Company.
• Monitors and provides coaching to ensure prompt and effective documentation of covered service encounters.
• Works with staff to ensure that members receive services in the most appropriate level of care.
• Participates in staffing, case conferences, and other meetings, as appropriate.
• Meets regularly with staff supervised to coordinate activities, address issues, resolve problems and review appropriateness of service goals and objectives.
• Prepares professional reports on such matters as services offered, program, personnel, and other aspects of the company’s operations; researches and complies statistical data; maintains records and reports, utilizing a computer and related software.
• Researches, recommends, develops, and enforces appropriate procedures, policies, and techniques to be used in routine operations, emergency operations, and prevention activities.
• Maintains knowledge of mental health agency rules, regulations, and standards.
• Manages and ensures that all facility infrastructures are properly maintained.
• Develops and delivers company presentations to the staff, and community groups and represents the company on various community and other agency committees as appropriate.
• Responsible for following any policies, procedures, and controls established by the organization regarding access to, protections of, and the use of the PHI.
• Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 years direct care Behavioral Health experience; Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience – Experience in overseeing an outpatient office including both clinically and administratively, is preferred.
REGULATORY:
• o Minimum 18 years of age.
• o Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements.
• o Must possess Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
• o CPR and First Aid certification (Employer provides).
• o Initial current negative TB test result (Employer provides).
