The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for many clinical components of resident care.
The ADON is a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team and oversees resident care, lab /diagnostic services, anticoagulant monitoring, wound care, catheter management, psychotropic medication use, skin and weight review and Certified Nursing Assistant training and oversight.
In the event that the Director of Nursing is unavailable, the ADON acts as the leader of clinical compliance for the facility.
> Active, Non-Probationary LPN License
> Active, Class-Instructed CPR Certification
> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
> Tuberculosis Testing
> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
> Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English
