Looking for companion horse/donkey (Cochise)

Looking for free or extremely cheap companion horse or donkey for my mare.
I am not in a position to buy another horse at the moment but can give a soft landing to a retired horse or donkey.
5 acres of land my mare has access to 4 acres of it.
