AZ Prius Personalized Plate for Transfer (All Arizona)

I own the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) license plate with the letters 'PRIUS'.
It is currently registered to my 2014 Prius.
Three Arizona Motor Vehicles representatives told me I 'own' the lettering on the plate and it can be transferred to another person.
I am going to give it up since I purchased a non-Prius electric vehicle.
Is anyone with a registered Prius in Arizona interested in purchasing it? Price:$1,000.
